Growing in Wisdom and Respect

Welcome to third grade, where students grow in wisdom, respect, and a love for learning! In our classroom, we focus on being faithful to Jesus Christ and deepening our understanding of His teachings. Together, we explore how to apply Biblical knowledge to everyday challenges, emphasizing personal responsibility, respect, and serving others.

Faith in Action

Our students learn to serve with compassion, putting their faith into action through special projects, such as our annual trip to Feed My Starving Children. This hands-on experience teaches them the importance of selflessness and gives them an opportunity to make a difference.

Building Academic Confidence Through Real-Life Applications

In third grade, students develop essential skills in reading, writing, and problem-solving, all while building confidence in their independent work habits. Our curriculum includes exciting projects like the Interactive Book Report and the Flat Stanley Geography Unit, which bring learning to life and connect academics with real-world applications.

Weekly Specials and Enriching Experiences

Each week, third graders participate in Computer Science, Spanish, Music, Physical Education, and Art, joining their peers across DGCS for these enriching classes. Through field trips and visits from community heroes, we introduce students to the impact of professionals who serve with dedication and integrity.

Join us in third grade, where your child’s heart and mind will grow through inspiring lessons, meaningful projects, and a focus on wisdom and respect.
